What Our Clients Say About Us

I’ve been plagued with chronic tendonitis for many years, seeking out various therapies to relieve the pain.  Deep tissue massage is the only treatment that has given me consistent pain relief, as well as healing the actual cause.   In the beginning, the therapy can be painful, but the results are quickly felt, with each session bringing improvement.  Stephanie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in various techniques, and teaches the client how they can help themselves achieve a stress and pain-free healthy life.

Stephanies class is always peaceful and relaxing.  She makes every part of our body more awake and aware.  Here is no best part of the class because it is all good.  She has the perfect yoga voice, and I feel my mind is more open to the world around me after her class.  It’s never the same class and that relaxing yoga voice.

We love the variety in our weekly classes.

Mary Colbert

I’m an avid golfer and play a lot in season.  This day started no differently than any other – beautiful weather and good camaraderie with friends.  About the time I got to the 10th tee however, my lower back muscles started to feel a little tight.  The temperature was in the mid 80’s so it wasn’t that and I couldn’t remember doing anything that would have irritated it.  I played on, stretching occasionally, figuring it would eventually loosen up and go away.  It didn’t though and by the 16th hole, I couldn’t make a golf swing and had to quit for the day.  The worst part was I had a big golf tournament just two days off.

I laid down with some Ibuprofen but it didn’t do much for the pain.  The next morning it was no better and since the muscle was still very tight I wondered if a massage would help.  I called Stephanie at Body Science Massage and asked if she could squeeze me in that day.  She was able to do so and said she would meet me at her office.  She asked me some basic medical history questions and then specifically about this injury.

She went to work and focused much attention on my lower back muscle that she could tell was indeed, very tight.  The massage was fantastic and Stephanie exuded nothing but the utmost professionalism and care in her work.  I went home and rested after the massage as she suggested and my back certainly felt better.  The next day I woke up my back felt great!  My team won the golf tournament and I owe it all to Stephanie that I was even able to play.  I know I couldn’t have done it without her help.
